Leadership Culture Assessment

Understanding Your Organizations Culture
Organizational Culture is often an underestimated and unseen force that impacts a leadership teams ability and effectiveness in bringing about change within their organization. Culture matters! It matters because decisions made without awareness of the operative cultural forces may have unanticipated and undesirable consequences. Culture flavors everything your organization is and does. It can prevent your organizations potential from being realized or – if used if understood and promoted can draw others in and produce exceptional results throughout your organization.

Developing and awareness and understanding of your organizations culture brings health and vitality and influences positive change toward future goals. It cannot and must not be ignored. The rewards of having gained a “cultural perspective” throughout your organization includes the ability to clarify the real issues, an understanding of the origins of resistance, and understanding the true sources of conflict. In addition, defensiveness decreases, humility increases and with humility comes wisdom. Your team will no longer need to fear or resist change. The blame game can cease to exist and your organizations vision, mission and values can be lived out enthusiastically.

The Leadership Culture Survey*

Features and Benefits
The Leadership Culture survey is a powerful tool that tells you how your team views their current leadership culture and compares that reality to the optimal culture they desire. The “gap” between data on their current culture and their desired culture instantly reveals key opportunities for leadership and team development. When results are displayed, the gap between the current reality and desired culture is highlighted. This focuses the conversation immediately on those aspects of the culture that most need to be addressed

The Leadership Culture Survey will:

  • Establish a compelling rationale for change
  • Focus leadership development efforts
  • Delineate cultural challenges associated with acquisitions, mergers and restructuring plans
  • Correlate leadership to productivity, profits, turnover, and other bottom line metrics

The Leadership Culture Survey reveals to your team important insights in four areas that are key to developing an effective leadership culture. The Relationship – Task Balance measures the degree of balance between achievement competencies (tasks) and the relationship competencies. The Reactive – Creative Scale reflects the degree of balance between the Creative dimensions and the reactive dimensions.

Your team’s response to a series of questions reveals important insights in the areas of Relationship-Task Balance as well as, the Creative-Reactive Dimensions. The data display is vivid, precise, and easy to understand. It allows for immediate, in-depth understanding of this valuable information. The Leadership Circle Culture Survey builds readiness for change at the group level.
